Club Membership

Full membership: as an affiliated member with Bowls Victoria you are eligible to enter any competitions organised by our Club, Division and Region, Bowls Victoria or Bowls Australia. Your annual subscription also pays for your entry fees to all Cobram Club championship events for the season.

Definition of a Social Member

Any person who does not wish to or is unable to participate in the official activities of the Club may be elected as a Social Member of the Club. A Social Member shall be entitled to all the social privileges of the Club. They shall be entitled to use the greens for practising bowls and be allowed to play as a Social Bowler in any event specified as “mufti”, organised by the Club.

Junior Member:

Persons under the age of 18 years on 31st December following the date of their election as members may be admitted as Junior Members.

Junior Members shall have the same rights as Full Members to practice on the greens and to play in bowls events conducted by the Club.

Junior Members may be present in the licensed areas of the Club without being accompanied by a parent or guardian prior to, during, and immediately after participating in bowling activities for such purposes as use of change rooms and toilets, obtaining and consuming food and non alcoholic drinks, attending coaching tuition, team meetings and presentation functions.
